Up for sale is a Universal Geneve “Tri-Compax” 18k Pink Gold Chronograph with Box, Triple Calendar & Moonphase c. 1940s. The “Tri” in Tri-Compax refers to it’s three complications: calendar, moonphase, and chronograph. Round, 18k pink gold case measures 37mm and features a Universal crown, and rectangular pushers. Original, signed, silvered dial with baton hour markers, gold hands, outer tachymeter scale, inner minute track, subsidiary dials for 30 minute and 12 hour registers at 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock respectively, constant seconds at 9 o’clock, apertures for day and month in French, and subsidiary dial for date at 12 o’clock enclosing moonphase calendar. Black band. Signed mechanical movement. With Universal Geneve box. In good vintage condition.
