Up for sale is a Universal Geneve “Tri-Compax” Stainless Steel Chronograph w/ Triple Calendar & Moonphase c. 1950s, Ref 22297/3. The “Tri” in Tri-Compax refers to it’s three complications: calendar, moonphase, and chronograph. Signed, round, stainless steel case no. 1896478 measures 35mm and features round pushers and screw-down case-back. Signed, silvered dial with patina, applied baton hour markers, dauphine hands, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for 30 minute and 12 hour registers at 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock respectively, constant seconds at 9 o’clock, apertures for day and month, and subsidiary dial for date at 12 o’clock enclosing moonphase calendar. Brown band with silver buckle. Signed manual winding mechanical movement. In very good vintage condition.
