Up for sale is a Breguet et Fils Quarter Repeater Sterling Silver Open Face French Antique Pocket Watch. Heavy Round Sterling Silver Case measures 55mm. Case back is embossed Guilloche with blank heraldic shield. Case back opens for key wind, and reads “Breguet & Fils, a Paris” No. 9745. Breguet et Fils was used to sign Breguet Pocket Watches from 1807 to 1833, when Abraham-Louis Breguet took his son as his partner. Watch features White Enamel Dial (also signed ‘Breguet et Fils’) with Black Arabic Numerals and Blued Steel Hands. Watch is in Fair-Average Vintage Condition; Dial shows quite a bit of wear and tear with some cracks and scratches, but is still perfectly legible. Keywind movement with Working Quarter Repeater.
