Movement: 20’’’ gilt half plate mechanical movement with double roller lever escapement, 14 jewels in screwed settings, fusee and raised barrel and diamond endstone. Accompanying Certificate of Origin dated November 4th, 2015 from Charles Frodsham & Co., Ltd. confirms 1894 manufacture date and further notes that the movement was originally supplied by Preston in 1888 and was transferred subsequently from a hunter case to the current open face case in 1894.
Case: Round 18k yellow gold open face case no. 07664 is hallmarked London 1894, with case maker's mark 'HMF'. Outer case back features decorative engraving of a winged fortress.

Dial: Signed perfect off-white enamel dial with black radial Roman numerals & outer minute track has blued steel spade hands, a seconds subdial at the 6 o'clock position and an up/down indicator at the 12 o'clock position
