The stainless steel cushion shaped case measures 28.5x30mm and features a Stainless Steel case back, indicating its first model status . Textured black aquanaut dial features white luminous hands and Arabic numerals, with date at the 3 o’clock position. The black rubber strap features a double folding Stainless Steel Patek Philippe clasp. Automatic movement. In excellent ‘as new’ condition. Inventory #: 22136
Introduced in 1997, Patek Philippe’s Aquanaut series offers a sportier alternative to the brand’s classic & iconic watch designs. The Aquanaut’s textured ‘tropical’ rubber strap is durable, waterproof, and hypoallergenic, inspired by 60s and 70s sport watch trends. The strap texture is echoed on the watch face, which along with the case bears a strong resemblance to elements of the design of the Nautilus, another iconic Patek Philippe model. The Aquanaut is water-resistant, and features a double deployant buckle and screw down crown, both stamped with the Calatrava cross, Patek Philippe’s adopted logo.
