Up For Sale is a Rolex (Ref: 2940) Stainless Steel Bubble Back Wrist Watch, circa 1943.  It features a stainless steel case (no. 248276) with a screw down back and a screw down Oyster Patent crown.  Case measures 31 mm.  This vintage watch has a toned dial with Arabic numerals and 1/5th seconds divisions and five second numerals.  Luminous skeleton blued steel hands monitor the hour and minute while a red center sweep hand tells the second.  The movement, no. 92147, is “Auto-Rotor” chronometer with a nickel finish. The watch’s leather band is secured by a steel Rolex buckle.
