Up for sale is a Cartier “Gothic” Desk Clock Cartier, movement by LeCoultre, No. 493024. Circa 1940. Very fine steel and leather desk clock. C. Gothic arch entirely covered by brown leather, the front with two doors secured by a brass latch. D. Silver with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blue steel Breguet hands. M. Cal. LC1, steel and brass, straight line lever escapement, monometalic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, movement signed LeCoultre.
