Up for sale is an English open face pocket watch E.Wise, Manchester,18k Yellow Gold Center Sec. Lever Fusee, dated circa 1860. Case is 18k Yellow Gold, 4 body, gold cuvette. Watch back is decorated with a blank crest within an oval frame. Case size is 55mm. Dial is white enamel, Roman numerals, with an outer min track and 1/5th sec marks, gold spade hands, and a blue steel center sweep with hack mechanism activated from a gold slide on the rim. Movement No. 22307. Movement is gilt 3/4plate, free sprung, with bi-metallic compensated balance, 15 jewels, side lever, hack center seconds. Movement signed E.Wise, Manchester.
