Up for sale is an Omega Art Deco 18k Tri-Color Gold Brooch Watch c. 1920s. Signed rectangular Art Deco 18k rose, pink and white gold case no. 2253 measures 41x46mm. Signed silvered dial with black Arabic numerals and gold hands. Signed mechanical 2/3 plate movement no. 6167822 with screw compensation balance. Overall watch weight is 43g. This Timepiece is illustrated and described in “Omega” by Marco Richon, Biel 2007, page 464. It is a rare model of French manufacture, characterized by a new type of fixing system which allows to wear the timepiece on all parts of the clothing. These creations were produced by Maison Frères Brandt, the general agent of Omega in Paris.
