Up for sale is a Swiss 14k Gold Quarter Hour “Carillon” Repeater With Chronograph, circa 1890’s. Case: large 60 mm gold hunters case, plain covers, gold cuvette with exposition medallions Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, sub seconds, blue fly back sweep, gold Louis XV hands Movement: gilt 3/4 plate, straight line lever, jeweled to the center wheel, repeating on two gong rods, two hammers, hammers chime a triplet sequence on the quarter hour strikes. Condition: dial is good, movement is good, running and chiming but cleaning is recommended, case is good overall but some interior splits on the center band near the opening area of the dust cover.
