Description
Up for sale is a Swiss painted horn triple cased verge with painted dial pocket watch, made circa 1780. This watch has a triple 60mm outer case with pinned and painted under horn scene, and inner silver cases. The dial is white enamel with Roman numerals, blacksmith and horse painted scene, and gilt filigree hands. The movement is verge fusee, ornate pierced silver top frame with colored stone decorations, two footed balance cock centered by a silver double eagle plaque.
