Up for sale is a Cyma “WWW Military” (Ref P 8980) Stainless Steel Wristwatch c. 1940s. This is one of the “dirty dozen” military watches made to meet the specifications of the British Ministry of Defense for World War II. WWW stands for Watch Wristlet Waterproof. Round, stainless steel case no. 13980 with screw-down case-back measures 38mm. Signed, black dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and outer minute track. Brown band with silver buckle. Signed mechanical movement no. 383266 with 15 jewels. In excellent vintage condition.
